The W201 radio with electric antenna works by receiving radio signals through its antenna and then amplifying and converting them into sound waves that can be heard through the car's speakers. The electric antenna is controlled by a switch on the radio or by the radio itself, and it automatically extends or retracts to optimize signal reception. When the radio is turned on, the electric antenna extends to its full length to improve signal reception, and when the radio is turned off, the antenna retracts to its resting position. This system helps ensure that the radio receives the best possible signal for clear and uninterrupted listening. **
